At Asante Salon, we value each guest and team member as people, and as an ever-growing salon, we are always on the lookout for positive, passionate individuals who have the desire to learn and grow.
Our mission is Asante Sana, which translates to “Thank you very much.” Not only do we thank our guests for choosing our salon, we also make sure to show appreciation to our team members. It’s important to us that our team encourages and collaborates with one another to provide our guests with the highest level of service.
We have a staff of talented, hard working individuals who make up a unified team. We know that we can rely on one another for support, and we like to have fun along the way. We keep things exciting by always experimenting with creative decor to keep our salon environment upbeat and fresh. We also love to participate in photoshoots, retreats, team rituals, and host various company parties as a team.
We are so proud to have been awarded the 2015 King County Women-Owned Small Business of the Year Award, a testament to the longstanding and stellar reputation that keeps our guests coming back and supporting us in our community.
We are conveniently located in Redmond Town Center, a beautiful outdoor shopping and community center on the Eastside that is home to numerous shops, restaurants, fitness centers and even healthcare providers. Get your morning caffeine boost at a nearby cafe, or take a walk in Marymoor Park after work to take in a concert or just enjoy the great outdoors.
Redmond itself is the perfect blend of urban and suburban, with outstanding schools and loads of activities for all ages. Working in the middle of Redmond, you’ll have ample opportunities to explore the town by trying new restaurants or browsing inside local shops.
Part of Asante’s value system is shown in our efforts to give back to the local community that we call home. We frequently partner with local organizations and non-profit groups whose mission resonates with our team.
Besides the local community, we also care for the environment as a whole. We are an eco-friendly salon that values the importance of limiting our waste and water usage.

“I really appreciate working for a small business owner who really values our input as staff. We have a great work life balance which allows me to have the freedom to focus on myself and my career. “Being in the industry/Aveda for 20 years, coming to Asante was like a breath of fresh air. Being seen, respected and appreciated as an individual, not just as an employee, it really was the point of difference for me. Having the flexibility with my schedule has made a huge difference in my personal life that I truly am grateful for and having that more “home away from home” vibe is always a great feeling.”
“My dream was to create a community where all staff and guests feel at home. I value that each team member is able to grow as a person outside the salon as much as in their artistry. A healthy work/life balance for all is very crucial.”
